Advent Day 14...

Christmas Party at the Schaefers with surprise guest: Santa!!! The kids don't know yet, but I'm really excited for them. I'm sure Luke will look at Santa and roll his eyes, hoping not to be called on, but perhaps Santa will get him in the spirit this year!!!! As for me.... I have treats/goodies/platters to make for 4 different occasions this week, and instead of treat bags for all the kids' classmates... specialty candy canes from my favorite candy maker: Sam's Club. I really hope I can keep my hands out of the M&M jar. I'm also attending V's class party and Luke's class party this week. Let's see what else this week brings us: Luke's school Christmas program, ballet, hockey, church, 2 class parties, V's Christmas program, gingerbread house making (I've been looking forward to this for 3 weeks!) and ballet recital... so I guess I can say that come Friday at 11:30, I will be the happiest and most crazed mom on the planet.
